Was deadly beating on North Sea island due to a dispute over the quality of his fusion cooking?
Miki Nozawa was well-known as a Japanese-Italian fusion chef who had cooked in some of the world’s finest restaurants. Now Nozawa may become more famous in death, following an alleged beating by two guests who reportedly did not enjoy their meal at his newly-opened Asian snackery Nozawa (“A Taste Of Asia To Go”) on the North Sea island Sylt, a fashionable German resort.
The men had complained to the chef that they didn’t like his fried noodles with vegetables and beef and refused to pay for their meal, reports Suddeutsche Zeitung.
Later that same evening, the 57-year-old chef happened to be at the same bar as the two guests, both craftsmen aged 36 and 50 respectively. As reported by the newspaper Bild, he is said to have told the men: “Pay your bill. Ten euros for each of you.”
After that, investigators say, a loud verbal exchange took place that escalated when they stepped outside. The disgruntled customers allegedly started beating Nozawa, who died several hours after he was brought to a local hospital. The exact cause of death has not yet been announced.
Before opening his own place on Sylt, Nozawa had worked in Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore’s renowned Billionaire restaurant on the island of Sardinia. He had cooked for Mikhail Gorbachev, Phil Collins, Denzel Washington and other celebrities.
Public prosecutor Ulrike Stahlmann-Liebelt stated that the alleged perpetrators were drunk when they attacked Nozawa. The alleged perpetrators are still at large.

Monsanto is bad for humanity for several reasons:
1. They use genetically modified seeds with something called terminator technology. When a harvest happens, the seeds produced by the new crops are rendered useless. Although in 1999, Monsanto agreed to not commercialize terminator technology. This means farmers have to repeatedly purchase these seeds.
2. Most crops Monsanto grows are heavily fertilized. In essence your eating pesticides, fertilizer, antibiotics etc.
3. They have uprooted countless agricultural traditions in places like India, Mongolia, Vietnam. For example in India sesame seed oil was once the way people made their money and cooked their food cheaper. Monsanto lobbied the Indian government to use soy bean oil (soy is their main product). This destroyed the economic stability of India’s subsistence farmers. It is awful for their economy, but also for their health. Immediate heavy intakes of soy can be extremely harmful for the body..I don’t know why, don’t ask. just Google it.
4. Monsanto because of its recent growth by buying out its competitors is imposing a monopoly on the world grain trade…this largest agricultural market in the world. The grain trade feeds cows, pigs, chickens, us, everything we eat comes from grain food. Monsanto by having a monopoly kills smaller businesses, makes us unhealthy, uproots local agriculture etc.

The bold introduction of the new fruit is part of Monsanto’s aggressive new marketing plan to stop being defensive about special-interest consumer health complaints, mostly from scientists and people who have children, but rather to loudly sell the benefits of each food product that has had its genes cut and pasted.
“All anyone hears is how our corn causes colon cancer and our apples lead to oozy ear lumps and deafness…they never hear that our plums grow hair for balding men and women,” said Vice President of Marketing and Profit, Gunter Gall, speaking to reporters by Skype from Monsanto’s headquarters in the company-owned city of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Monsanto plans to unfold the new, aggressive marketing tactics for its other products including seeds, DEET, transfats, herbicides, pesticides, STP Motor Oil Treatment, and its new Edible Food Products line.
“We’re about to launch our new Bee Free Honey,” boasted Gall. “With all these silly bees dying, Monsanto has done the ethically right thing and researched a solution. Honey that doesn’t need bees!! And it improves your night vision!!! How cool is that?”

Eating a diet full of processed junk food is inevitably asking for some health issues. Refined sugars, blanched carbohydrates, bad fats like hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, and chemical ingredients such as BHT are common additives in most of the foods that millions of Americans consume on a daily basis. Unless one is persistently conscientious about what they are putting into their bodies and research food ingredients and constantly read food labels, there is a great chance that they are ingesting unhealthy processed foods.
An array of health problems can occur from eating junk foods, such as hypertension, type-2 diabetes, and high cholesterol. One growing issue that many Americans probably overlook as being caused by a junk food diet, though, is infertility.
A recent study published in the Journal Human Reproduction shows a connection between low sperm counts and a high-fat junk food diet. “In this preliminary cross-sectional study, high intake of saturated fats was negatively related to sperm concentration whereas higher intake of omega-3 fats was positively related to sperm morphology,” details the study.
Researchers asked 99 men questions about their eating habits while examined their sperm. Those men who displayed the most intakes of unhealthy fats had about a 43% lower count of sperm and 38% lower sperm concentration than those men who consumed less unhealthy fats and ate healthier fats such as Omega-3s. The men who ate more Omega-3s also interestingly showed “sperm with a more normal structure” than the men with the high unhealthy fat consumption.
Other studies in the past have shown similar results, only adding more reasoning behind why eating a diet full of processed junk food negatively impacts health.
Shanxi Suhai Group has recently attracted farmers to breed chicken for it, claiming in its advertisement that it provides them with technology for quick growth of chickens able to be used by restaurants in 45 days. They say that they will purchase as many chickens as the farmers are able to breed, as they have KFC, McDonald’s and large supermarket chains as their customers.
However, farmers have to use the chicken feed prepared by the group.
It turns out that the group uses lots of industrial salt, choline chloride and antibiotics in preparing the feed. Its feed plant is so stinking that its smell causes nausea to people far away from the plant.
Workers in the plant said that some additives are mixed in the feed. They do not know what they are but are sure they are harmful to human health as all the flies die when they come near the plant. They say that young people dare not work in the plant.
However, the group argues that the industrial salt is used to soften the water, while choline chloride is a nutritious food additive allowed by the state.
As for antibiotics, chicken farmers say that they are required to breed 5,000 chickens in one shed. Chickens easily become sick in a shed with such density. Therefore, the chickens are constantly fed with antibiotics.
However, the group argues that feeding chickens with antibiotics is just like giving patents antibiotics as medicine to cure their diseases. It stresses that the effect to human health is “negligible.”
We all know patients are given antibiotics only when necessary and it’s harmful for healthy people to take antibiotics. Abusive use of antibiotics is very harmful, but the group simply does not care as long as it can make profit.
