Town Council refuses to be ‘whipping boys’
Fun and games in Tuam Town Council where emotions ran high and their was talks of Messiahs and whipping boys in the latest twist in the campaign to prevent a public right of way in Tuam being extinguished. Members of the Restore Our Palace Road committee staged a dramatic walkout at this month’s town council meeting shortly after Mayor of Tuam Cllr Eamon Kitt welcomed them to the Town Hall on Monday evening.

The walkout occurred because the Mayor blatantly lied to the meeting. The Restore Our Palace Road Committee members didn’t attend the meeting to be lied to.
